The Benefits of Buying a doTerra Enrollment Kit

When is it time for doTerra Essential Oil Enrollment Kits?

Most people are introduced to the therapeutic properties of doTerra essential oils through samples or by being invited to a class. And, yes, some fall in love with the purity and potency of doTerra, immediately purchase an enrollment kit, and begin their transformation into an Essential Oil Family.

Others make their initial essential oil purchases as retail customers.  Some buy full-sized samples at wholesale price.  There are benefits to buying oils and products through doTerra enrollment kits sooner rather than later.  It's a great way to save money and quickly fill your Wellness Cabinet!

Your doTerra IPC (Independent Product Consultant) can provide you with a private consultation to help you match doTerra essential oils and products to your lifestyle and health and wellness needs. Your IPC will also monitor your sample use and purchases to help you identify a strategic time to enroll.  It's worth the time to take a look at the kits yourself to see what options (and questions) you have.

How an Enrollment Kit Saves You Money

1. Every enrollment kit includes free enrollment as an Independent Product Consultant. Bam! $35 saved, right off the bat!
2. Save anywhere from $30.00 to $582.13 on doTerra essential oils, blends, supplements, and other products bundled into our kits.
4. Immediately start paying wholesale for your doTerra products.  If you want to purchase items not included in your kit in that same order, you will pay wholesale for those items on the spot. There is no waiting period.
5. Participate in the doTerra Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP). The LRP gives qualifying members 10% to 50% discounts on select products, a free product of the month, quarterly freebies, and the ability to earn points that can be cashed in for free products.
6. Begin earning commission right away! Start a home based business with a company that emphasizes training. Or don't - and enjoy perks as a wholesale customer.  The door is there, you can choose if and when you want to open it.
7. Select kits let you start earning points towards free products at a higher level (= more free stuff sooner!).

When to Consider Buying an Enrollment Kit

If the products that most meet your needs are bundled into an enrollment kit, then you need to see what your choices are before overspending on the same individual items.  This is where discussing your needs, wishes, and long term and short term budget with your IPC helps you make an informed choice.

doTerra enrollment kits contain our most popular products.  It's easy to buy one or two oils every month before realizing that you assembled an existing kit without the savings!  Talk to your IPC about current and upcoming enrollment specials and LRP freebies.  This knowledge might also influence your purchase planning.

The Family Physician Kit

This is a great starter kit! I recommend that doTerra customers who are spending $50 or more on oils and blends already included in the Family Physician Kit seriously considering this kit.  It costs $150, but $35 of that price is your enrollment fee. It's kind of like a sampler.

The Family Physician Kit comes with ten of our most popular oils in 5ml bottles, and includes a free full sized bottle of Slim and Sassy.  Slim and Sassy is an essential oil based nutritional supplement that helps control the cravings, mood, and appetite that interfere with weight loss.

The oils and blends in the Family Physician Kit address first aid, immunity, respiratory health, muscle pain, wellness, digestion, and stress relief. They can also be used in natural house cleaning, cooking, and in beauty products. Each 5ml bottle has approximately 85 drops. You save $34.50 compared to buying the oils individually. Combine that with the free enrollment and that's $69.50 in savings. The kit contains:
  • Lavender
  • Lemon
  • Peppermint
  • Melaleuca
  • Oregano
  • Frankincense
  • Deep Blue®
  • Breathe
  • DigestZen®
  •  On Guard®
  • Slim & Sassy®
  • dōTERRA IPC Introductory Packet
  • Enrollment

The Home Essentials Kit

This is the kit that I enrolled with, and I have no regrets! I blazed through my oils at first.  I didn't know that the potency of doTerra essential oils meant that more is less. I was waaaay overusing! The usual child dose is 1-2 drops, and the usual adult dose is 2-4 drops. Let's just say that I was a bit heavy handed at first.

We got our Home Essentials Kit in August, when three of us were dealing with major allergies (the oils needed to make our awesome Allergy Trio are in this kit). Back to school also brought too much strep, GI, and upper respiratory bugs to our happy home. The oils were flowing here for our first two months with doTerra!

The difference between the Home Essentials Kit and the Family Physician Kit is $100. For that extra money you get the same oils as the Family Physician Kit.  All but the Digest Zen and Frankincense are three times larger, in 15ml bottles. You get a lot more oil for your money with this kit.

Instead of the Slim & Sassy, the Home Essentials Kit has a Past Tense Headache blend. The Peppermint essential oil in both kits can be an effective way to treat headaches, but many find that early use of Past Tense can stop a migraine from developing to the point of needing prescription intervention.  Since our Maxalt copay is close to $100, we felt that it was worth trying. We were not disappointed (individual results vary, of course!).

A friend bought the Family Physician Kit.  I was mentoring her oil use, so she didn't go as nuts as I did. But her kit arrived at the same time that a cold or flu bug was traveling between her and her friends. She also had a brush with Mastitis.  She's a sharer by nature, and between her own family's needs and those of her friends, she went through a lot of the immune boosting and antibacterial/antiviral oils quickly.  By the end of her first month she was regretting that she did not buy the larger Home Essentials Kit.

The Home Essentials Kit costs $250. You save $41.00 over buying the oils individually. Add that to the free enrollment and your total savings is $76.00! It contains:
  • Frankincense (5 mL)
  • Lavender
  • Lemon
  • Melaleuca
  • Oregano
  • Peppermint
  • Breathe
  • On Guard®
  • DigestZen®
  • Deep Blue® (5 mL)
  • PastTense® (10 mL)
  • dōTERRA IPC Introductory Packet*
  • Enrollment
